COMMENTS

Our family learned to row at Craftsbury in VT on the insistence of my lovely wife Nancy Teaff.  We joined Catawba shortly afterwards.  Since our youngest daughter, Mary Cait became quite good at rowing, we helped found youth rowing in Charlotte at Catawba in 2000.  When we became head coaches in 2002, the name was changed to Charlotte Youth Rowing and the youth crew affiliated with the YMCA.  Nancy and I have continued as active rowers and coaches since then, although our daughters no longer row.
