HEAD OF THE HOOCH 2024
Every year, during the first weekend in November, CYC rowers travel to Chattanooga, TN for
the Head of the Hooch, a national regatta that this year attracted 180 clubs from as far away as
Tempe, Arizona.
And, once again, CYC punched above its weight, coming in Fourth overall!
CYC took 3 gold medals:
Mixed 4X, Men’s 8+, and Women’s 1X.
We also won 3 silver medals: Men’s 4+, Men’s 2X, and Mixed 8+.
And 3 bronze medals: Women’s 1X, Men’s 4X, and Mixed 4+ medals.
That’s more medals than clubs who finished in Second and Third in Team Points.
It was a great weekend!
